Hammer & Spoons Paint Library
A growing archive of every paint color we’ve used in our 1960s ranch makeover.
Welcome to the Hammer & Spoons Paint Library — the place where you can find every paint color, finish, and formula we’ve used throughout our home. As we continue refreshing each room in our cozy mid‑century ranch, I’ll update this page with new colors, sources, and links to the full makeover posts.
If you’re watching one of my makeover videos and hear me say, “For color details, check out hammerandspoons.com/paint,” this is exactly where you’ll land.
Think of this page as your one-stop paint guide — organized by room, updated as we go, and filled with the warm, vintage-inspired palette that makes our home feel like us.
Current Paint Projects
Below are the rooms we’ve completed or are actively working on. Each section includes:
• the exact paint color(s)
• finish + brand
• how we used it
• a link to the full makeover blog post
• notes on why we chose it
As new makeovers roll out, I’ll add them here.

Why We Chose It: A blend of Leo’s bold, saturated style with my warm, cozy palette.

Cozy Office (Tinamarie@Home)
Wall Color: Mountain Peak White by Benjamin Moore
Ceiling or Trim Color: Warm beige (this color was color matched from original paint)
Finish: Eggshell for trim, Matte-Satin for walls
Why We Chose It: This is my cozy content creator space. The white color on walls offers me the best lighting for this space for not only filming vlogs, but crafts and projects. It creates a cozy, cottage-core, vintage inspired space for me to spend my day.
