Peppermint Chocolate Fudge
Nothing gives Christmas flavor like peppermint. This recipe for peppermint chocolate fudge has been a recurring treat on my holiday table for years. It’s also a very easy recipe for an impressive dessert. Your guests will think you spent hours in the kitchen.
I’ve been making this fudge for years. Even the kids who went to school with my sons a decade ago, still visit at the holidays. They always ask my son to let them know when the treats are ready because they’re coming over for mom’s peppermint chocolate fudge!
It makes great holiday gifts:
Pack a few pieces of the fudge in a pretty teacup or candy dish for a sweet homemade gift. Or, wrap in festive tissue paper and box for a homemade holiday greeting to give to neighbors and friends.
What do you do with leftover candy canes?
What a great way to get rid of extra peppermint candies after the holidays. There is no reason we can’t continue the experience when the holidays have passed!
It’s one of those recipes we look forward to every year and I believe once you make this fudge, you will be doing the same!
Tools you’ll need:
I recommend using a double boiler when melting chocolate I’ll give my recommendation here in this link: Farberware Classic Stainless Series Double Boiler, however, if you don’t have a double boiler you can still use a saucepan at low heat just be sure to keep the heat low and watch it carefully.
Enjoy!
