Hi! I’m TinaMarie. I was born and raised in Southern California and when I married, settled in the Inland Empire. My husband, Leo, and I live in a 1960 mid-century traditional home. Fun fact, when we toured our home, all the other potential buyers wanted to offer a lower price and gut everything. The seller met us and could tell we had a true appreciation for the vintage–there wasn’t one thing we wanted to change.

We do plan to restore some parts of our home, but without interrupting the integrity of the 1960 charm. Over the years, I have learned to fix, create, restore, and stretch a budget. You’ll probably learn from my blogs, I’m the planner and the doer, Leo is the creator and the artist. I’m here to share tips, ideas, and best practices, with a focus on home, DIY, vintage, and thrifty living.

My passion for sharing my projects and life skills drove me to create hammer & spoons. I hope you enjoy!
